Blue is about as cute as a little old man can be. With his unusual coloring and bright blue eyes, this little guy has made himself a favorite among many volunteers and staff alike! What also draws people to Blue is his shy and quiet nature. When Blue first arrived about a year ago, he was so scared of people that we could not get within fifteen feet of him before he would run away! These days, Blue likes keeping people company, but still prefers not to be touched at this point. He dislikes a lot of activity, and will often leave an area where a lot is going on, but offer to sit quietly near him in the nice, soft sand and you have yourself one happy pig! In a home of his own, Blue would flourish, especially if that home has another mellow senior pig to hang out with, and gain more confidence from. We think that once little Blue understood how wonderful belly rubs are, there would be no going back! Likely born in 2000, Blue also enjoys getting sprayed with the water hose on a hot day. This senior doesnt have many teeth left, but can still eat his food just fine (it simply takes him a bit longer), and has periodic skin issues easily treated with some crushed flax seed in his food.
