Bluegrass & Old-Time Music - SE England First of all - please note, there will not be the regular picking session at St Julians on Thursday November 7th: unfortunately a large party is booked on that night, so there is no room free for us. You can enjoy some great music the following night at Bobbing (near Sittingbourne) with the fabulous Rich Pickins - see the listings attached There would be no St Julians session anyway on the first Thursday in December, as the place is always booked out for the whole month with Christmas parties. However, we shall be holding our usual early New Year special event on Friday January 3rd; as the Charlie Gaisford Memorial Charity concert will not be happening in 2013, our theme will be Ships, the Sea, Fishing etc.. The evening will be hosted by the Kent Carters; well be really glad to see you - do bring instruments and any songs (with or without a sea reference) for a traditional St Js music evening. Free entry - there will be a collection for the RNLI. Look forward to seeing you if you can make it. Rick Townend
