VIDEO: Fox News strategic analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters (Ret.) lashed out at President Obama for acting cowardly in his response to the Paris terror attack. Peters said on Americas Newsroom that he was shocked at the administrations decision not to send any high-level officials to yesterdays massive anti-terrorism rally that included more than 40 world leaders. Even the New York Daily News took a harsh stance toward Obamas decision to stay home, declaring that he had let the world down. Secretary of State John Kerry, who was in India yesterday, dismissed the criticism as quibbling on the part of critics. He is scheduled to be in in Paris on Thursday. Many have argued that the administration could have sent Joe Biden. Attorney General Eric Holder was in Paris for a separate meeting, but skipped the rally. The highest-level U.S. official present was the ambassador to France. Peters noted that in the past, he has been criticized for calling Obama a coward, but said this is another example of why he has said that. The presidents a coward. The president is a physical coward, he is a moral coward, he is an intellectual coward, he said, explaining that the presidents moral cowardice prevents him from ever admitting he was wrong about Islam. Make no mistake. Passivity in the face of terror is complicity. And yesterday, President Obama chose the side of the terrorists, said Peters, adding that he cannot find any explanation for some of the decisions made by this president. Future historians are gonna have a ball trying to unravel this guys psychology. You can explain his behavior to a point and then youre just in the Twilight Zone. Its appalling to me that this is a President of the United States who doesnt get excited about terrorist threats to the homeland. Hes got this romanticized view of Islam that doesnt jibe with reality, but he clings to it, said Peters. Watch his impassioned remarks above.
