Board, YMCA agree to pool expansion Bigger facility needed to host regional swim meets By Mike Wright INVERNESS — One might say Pat Deutschman’s last Citrus County School Board meeting created a real splash. The board voted 5-0 to ask the YMCA of the Suncoast to increase the size of its new pool to allow high schools to host regional swim meets. The vote doesn’t commit the district to the approximate $325,000 cost because the district doesn’t have funds in this year’s capital budget for the project.
