My son Jaymhen is Lady Gagas biggest fan. I wanted to make his dream come true and see her live in concert in lake Tahoe since its so close to home however, his last doctors check up was bad news. Doctors said he could not attend because there were too many risk factors involved. He recently had part of his bones removed from his skull back in March, due to an infection which hospitalized him in February. Any hit to his head could be fatal. He was admitted for 3 months and prior to that he was hospitalized in June 2013- October due to complications from a previous surgery. His latest check up also showed signs of him losing sight to his left eye and he must now where an eye patch for 4-6 hours a day. Hes been through numerous surgeries and hospitalizations since birth, but 2013/2014 has been the toughest. Jaymhen was born with Pfeiffer Syndrome, which could be genetic or sporadic. His unfortunately was sporadic and we had no idea. At the age of 2, a sleep apnea test revealed that he was getting less than 50% oxygen to his brain and an emergency trachesotomy was done and hes been with a trachea since than. Doctors said he most likely wouldnt walk, talk or be normal as they put it. Yet, at 10 years old, he has beaten so many odds. Its hard to believe but he TRULY is Lady Gagas biggest fan. At 6 years old, his speech and hearing was not good (which is still the case today. He has a cochlear implant) but somehow he fell in love with Lady Gaga and started learning her songs and singing them, which improved his speech and he started dancing to all her songs. Till this day, no video needed...play a song and he knows all thr choreography for it. Ask him anything, he knows. No one knows for sure if Jaymhen just doesnt know the difference between boy stuff and girl stuff but he loves to pretend he has long hair, especially when he dances to Lady Gaga. I used to get upset telling him not to act like a girl, and when Lady Gaga came out with Born This Way my views changed. I thank her for being such an inspiration to Jaymhen. Please like and share and maybe one day, his wish will come true to see/meet/talk or ANYTHING to his favorite person ever
