Boardman to Hemingway meeting set Public comment is being accepted until March 19 on the Bureau of Land Managements draft Environmental Impact Statement regarding the Boardman-to-Hemingway 500-kilovolt electric transmission line. A public meeting is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at the Marsing Senior Center. People can review the draft EIS for Idaho Powers proposed transmission line. The line will follow a route from Boardman, Ore., to the Hemingway substation in Wilson. The transmission line will cross through Malheur and Owyhee counties.
