Bob Dylan: Knockin on Heavens Door. I consider Bob Dylan as a lyrical genius, the greatest song writer of them all (with John Lennon as second). This performance by Bob Dylan gives me goosebumps. Theres been many versions of this, including Eric Clapton, Guns N Roses, U2 and even brazilian artists like Ze Ramalho giving it go but Bob Dylan (the person who wrote it, and performed it first) shows how it is done :). An absolute class act and a genius of our time... bob dylan :).
