Boba Guys and Gals, Its been a while since we updated our Facebook fans on the progress of the Union Square store. Here are two sneak peeks: 1) This is what the ordering area looks like. The Boba Guys Labs portion that we featured in the Kickstarter is in the back. We pride ourselves in #NextLevelQuality, so it takes our aesthetic from our Mission Store and updates it a bit. 2) The second is a picture of our La Marzocco 2-group espresso machine that just arrived. Again, its about #NextLevelQuality. We have been working on a lot of barista tricks, so this will make more than a kickass cup of coffee. Again, thank you for all the support! We love meeting you at our stores, pop-ups, and catering events. Your words of encouragement keep us pressing forward. Last week, we hit our highest grossing weekend ever (beat the next-best day by 10%). We could not have done that without your kind words and passion for our product and values. Heading into Store #2, our product will only get better from here. Our Mission Store is smaller than we would like, so sorry for the long lines (and obnoxious stanchions that we had to put in place) and occasionally running out of our housemade items. We took the learnings from store and made sure to not repeat the same mistakes. And for newbies on our Facebook, we proudly share that we are not a chain, franchise, or conglomerate. This is OUR money-- from Kickstarter and our own personal savings. This way, we can do whatever the heck we want and disrupt the entire industry.
