Bobby you came into HappyPaws Haven with your partner this afternoon as arranged. I was not aware that your children were so young. You had a 12 week old baby boy and a 2 1/2 year old toddler. As you can see from my post below that it is not recommended by the RSPCA to have a young puppy or kitten with very young kids. The recommended age is aged 7 and above. I invited you into the kitten room with you 2 1/2 year old son so I could observe how he behaved with the kittens and as I expected with any child his age he was rough with them. Will then asked whether I would refuse to sell your family an animal. I suggested you should look at older cats, I did not recommend a 7 year old cat at any stage. If you had taken my recommendation I would have taken you to the Junior room which house cats from 1-4 years and I also would have introduced the seniors which are from 3-6 years. Anyone with a brand new baby and a toddler has very little time to do much else.
