Bobs ultimate useless fun fact for tomorrow today---Way back in 1904, a fire broke out in Baltimore that raged for more than 30 hours and destroyed more than 1500 buildings, (which prompted my apartment management company to ban all grilling inside your unit.).....and in 1962, President John F. Kennedy imposed a full trade embargo on Cuba, (prompting a lucrative and illegal venture called cigar running across the 90 miles of the Straits of Florida).....and in 1974, the island nation of Grenada won independence from Britain......and in1984, astronauts Bruce McCandless and Robert Stewart went on the first untethered spacewalk, which lasted nearly six hours, (sounds kinda like the movie Gravity, with George and Sandra)......and five years ago, up along the north shore just a bit or 3 east of Toledo, a miles wide section of ice in Lake Erie broke away from shore, trapping about 135 fishermen, some for up as long as 4 hours before they could be rescued. ( even the ice tries to escape Toledo )........and finally, 320 shopping days left...........
