Body found in Lake June identified Staff report Highlands Today Published: June 15, 2013 LAKE PLACID - Highlands County Sheriff’s detectives have identified the body of the young man who was found in Lake June in the vicinity of the Lake June ball fields last Sunday. The body has been identified as that of Joshua Levy Holland, 19, according to a press release from the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office. Holland is said to be homeless, however, he does have family in the area. A wallet was found this week by Detective Sergeant Brian Kramer in the lake near where the body was discovered. With the information within the wallet, dental records were compared with the deceased and identification was positively made. The cause of death is still to be determined by the District 10 Medical Examiner pending toxicology reports. Preliminary reports do not indicate foul play; detectives will continue the case as a death investigation at this time.
