Brother divide I’m writing this observers note in English for our fellow English brothers and sisters to read as well. In the last 20 years I’ve been baffled to what the reasons for dividedness in one of the most reckonable nations in the world could be as I grew up in a time when schools were still white and we closed a chapter in a war in Angola. I’ve done numerous studies in this subject, reading post on different Afrikaans sites but realised that it came down to two issues: Political views: Even though we more or less have the same goals there is the all on-going debate about Afrikaner and Boer ideologies. Now this is one of the most ridicules arguments that has ever been debated as we all have ties to early Boer or English mostly mixed today blood lines that makes us all part of the same nation. If you don’t, then you are not from our past history. There is no way you can win a argument or proof any point in conducting any kind of ridicules debate on this. We from the same cloth accept it or get out. Religion: This is one of the worst green eye monsters among folks. It seems someone always tries to push their believe down other throats. We all have our own way of interpreting the word of God and I firmly believe that is something that should be kept to ourselves. I see people that push this subject as socially unstable and seem to lack social acceptance. In short, you don’t have many friends and people skip your name when braai invitations are sent. This also causes unnecessary debates, anger and people loses the focus on what they were brought together in the first place. So to sum this up, take the message and take out what you need but keep the implementation of it to yourself. These are basic tools used by liberals and their associated to keep us divided and seems to do a great job on this. They also have the most used racist card they throw in every time we stand together on something and people then jump off the wagon immediately. In any kind of resistance there are going to be punches, we’ve been taking most of it through the years. We should ask them, is resist the best they can come up with, how about explaining away the things they try so hard to hide from us. Call us resists if it will make them feel better, but then answer our questions. Now getting to the point. Let’s take the fight to the enemy and stop hitting each other. Keep religion and political views to ourselves. Throw away the TVs and re-introduce ourselves to people that are more important than world wealth. We can replace earth wealth but we can’t replace a live lost.
