Bon après-midi, mes amis! And a good afternoon it has been! Working this French thing has been breezy fun. After nailing good grooming (thanks Amy! Jadore my automne mani/pedi!) I finally checked out The Fresh Market that my friend Nancy told me about months ago. A regular ol grocery store aint cutting it after Paris. With market bag in hand, I entered + was immediately won over. And it wasnt because of Tinas offer of wine or Jeffs offer of prosecco as soon as I crossed the threshold, though that set the tone. I immediately went to the fromage after selecting some fall fleurs. Harvest time reigned, with pumpkin this here + spice there at every turn. Halloween displays + baskets filled with treats in the form of bread, chips, mixes + other sensory fixes were at every turn. I snapped pics while I shopped, overjoyed that my fave beverage KeVita was in the house. If I cant have my newfound Paris thé here, Im thrilled that I can pick up my beloved KeVita pick-me-up right around the corner from my house. To TFM: you have a new fan. And it isnt because Rachele offered me a sip of wine as I left the store. LOL Merci TFM + Nancy for turning me on to such a magnifique place. Full day one + French in Florida scores already. And theres a new Trader Joes that opened when I was away. Shopping for body-mind-heart-soul nourishment is convenient now. I can easily pretend Im in Paris roaming the marketplace with my basket. Nice. Its all about the intention we put behind everything we say + do. Quality trumps quantity any day...in what we put in out mouths + minds as well as what we put out out of our heads + lips.
