Book of Jasher (The Book of the Upright) 9:17 And Abram saw the stars and moon before him, and he said, Surely this is the God who created the whole earth as well as man, and behold these his servants are gods around him: And Abram served the moon and prayed to it all that night Translation: And Father of a multitude saw the Human race, and especially those known as stars, those called by the inhabitants of the earth, Celebrities, those considered Renown by earthly thought, and he saw the Moon, Those Who Provided the lesser light, The Music Industry, The Television Industry, and he said, Surely this is the God who created the whole earth as well as the human race, and behold these his servants are gods around him: And Father of a Multitude served the Lesser Light and prayed to it all that night, as he once again thought he had discovered from whence God was speaking
