Book review of Legend (Legend trilogy 1) by Marie Lu: A summary to help you out. The US as we know it has been destroyed, replaced by the crushingly militarized Republic to the west, and the Colonies to the east. When June, the Republics 15-year-old military prodigy is sent to track down Day, the Republics most wanted criminal, for the supposed murder of her brother, things get..plicated. I really have no words to describe this book any further. You just have to let it sweep you away. The characters are so relatable, and so real. They must make heartbreaking sacrifices and endure much hardship, but all for the sake of those they love.-Erin
