Boom! Jace is back and feeling much better. He is pretty darn amazing how he manages to bounce back so quickly. Each day this week was a little better. Hes walking around more his little attitude is positive. His appetite is through the roof which we couldnt be happier about. He is looking much better and more filled out reminding me of Gage and Huds at this age. His hair continues to be crazy. Its so soft and almost fuzzy. We buzzed the fly away fuzz top and he looks so darn cute. He doesnt mind at all sitting so nice. Wednesday he had a follow-up appointment at UNMC with radiation oncology, Dr. Lin. Everything looks good. She asked if we see our regular oncology Dr often? Once or twice a week plus admission to the hospital at least once a month was sufficient enough for us to no longer have to meet with her. One appointment off our plate:) Home health was out on Thursday to draw labs for a re-check of his potassium. Potassium is up and everything is where it needs to be for now. Whew! Hes started his Accutane on Monday and we havent noticed any side effects yet. We keep watching for super dry skin and lips. Jace will be admitted on 8/18 for his next round of immunotherapy. We were dismissed a week ago yesterday and the 18th seemed so far away. Our home routine will be different by then. Em & Gage will be back in school! The summer break went so fast! We are going to enjoy being home, running around like crazy, fighting with siblings, going to work, sleeping in our own beds and doing whatever we want until then.
