Bored so let me shed some light. Tonights topic AAHOA We are celebrating our 25th Anniversary, and we have come a long way, I am proud to be part of this Great Association, its amazing to see that we still have American Asian hotel owners that do not believe or see the benefit of joining and being part of this Great organization. All Current and past boards members including Ambassador, work hard all year around, not because they have a personal agenda, but fight for one course, and that is keep our Dreams going and to make sure that that the hardship that our parents faced in the hotel industry , we as the third generation dont have to face those times again. I dont need a title or need to be a Ambassador to support our organization. For all who still have questions regarding AAHOA and who are not currently members, please reach out to your Regional Director and or Ambassadors and get involved. Our Parents have worked so hard when they moved to this country so we children dont have to face the same hardship they did, AAHOA directly and indirectly impacts all of us in a positive way. Sign up become a member . Wow that was long, Just another opinion regarding elections and the great secretary position. Now this is just a opinion, I believe who ever runs for this position has to have been a regional director or a Director at Large , someone correct if this statement is incorrect, I just dont understand this. We as hotel owners hire and terminate associates all the time, when I am interviewing a potential associate for back of the house position , the interview may take 15 to 20 mins, and yet we are voting & electing a individual to lead our organization after a five min speech and a debate???? I feel that the nominations should be a lot sooner several debates should take place around the country so all the members can decide who will best lead this Great organization, like I mentioned its just a opinion.
