Both Indiana-Michigan Power and NIPSCO say crews are still assessing the situation and they do not have an estimated time of restoration yet. Currently there are more than 40,000 customers in the Michiana area without power. The two hardest hit areas are St. Joseph County (Ind.) and Berrien County (Mich.).
