Bought a membership and took the kids to Conner Prairie today. We all had a blast! The kids loved helping make noodles, cut biscuits, work in the garden, train for the 103 regiment, the petting barn, and so much more. Loved seeing them getting into their assigned roles. Cain was a housekeeper, Broc was a farmhand, and Aubrey was a gardener. The staff do an awesome job interacting with families. Another great thing.... they have several quiet spots for kids with Autism who may be overstimulated and need a break. Even though Cain has learned several techniques to calm himself he was eager to see what was in those rooms. He was happy to see a sensory box with scented lotions, weighted blankets, and massage tools:)
