A glove dropped from a tree stand on a cold day is no longer an issue if you pack this. A range finder or call dropped are also easily pulled back up without ever climbing down as long as there is something you can get ahold of. The only issue I had with the Silent Retriever is the fact that id did and does scratch hard plastic items if you are not careful due to the sharp hooks. But HEY if ya dropped it out of the tree feet already whats a small scratch!!!! Dont forget to get yours thesilentretriever
