Boy Oh Boy...Here we go again! The night before I go to traffic court on the Driving After Dark Without Headlights On ticket...Which by the way there is NO set fine for....You must plead guilty and go before the judge and let him set the fine or ask for a court date...I asked for the court date. Well anyway I was on I565 heading to Decatur to work on my daughters internet at her apartment and a cop pulls me over for my tag light being out. I informed him that some of that trucks model were sold in the 80s without a rear bumper and no tag light and its been that way....he didnt like that answer, but there are no connections under the rear of the truck for a tag light since it didnt come from the factory with it. Now it gets even worse he started looking in the cab of my truck from outside the window and asks who do you work for?....I didnt answer...He asks again....I told him that I didnt need to answer that question because it had no bearing on the infraction he pulled me over for and he really got pissed then and asked about my Ham radio equipment...I have a 2 meter mobile and a HF mobile radio in the cab and an 6 foot whip mounted to the bedside of my truck....He asked again who do you work for? and whats all this radio equipment doing in your truck...I told him I didnt have to answer and he got pissed and grabbed my DL up and headed back to his car and gave me a 72 hr get it fixed ticket. Well tomorrow I will be at IA filing a complaint on him for being a DICK and plan on telling them I think hes a DICK...I guess the big thing is people remember LEOs are not your friends if they were they wouldnt get mad for you exercising your rights!
