Boy, does it look COLD late month. I keep seeing signs in both computer models and analogs (comparing this season to years past) that our temperatures will take a big nose dive by the end of Dec and into the very early parts of Jan. We have seen this pattern change for several weeks, albeit a tad later than originally thought (earlier this month, I thought it would be here around Christmas). Obviously, that will increase our potential for system snows and lake effect snow. What are your thoughts? Do you like this quiet pattern, or do you enjoy a few snow storms now and then? I know many of you rely on winter storms for your income.
