Boys all tucked in for the night. We gave them a mineral block to lick...but it became a munch fest and soon we having to give sharing reminders so there were no fights. You would have thought we had piled out a bucket of their favorite treats. They have had mineral salt all along, but this was the mineral equine block--have I been missing giving my boys the right salt? or was this just a munchie treat for them. Maybe this is part of why Cash has chewed so much wood? I used to always put salt in the feed each feeding, but since they are living on hay only right now when they come in at night, it is free choice. They each have hay bags and water and seemed content to intently watch their field from the open barn windows. I swear I think sometimes that Cash has ADD (attention deficit disorder)! :)
