Brad Montague gave me a 7 like Prince, so..here are 7 more things you may not know about me, Like my status & Ill give you a # too... 1. If I hadnt had children when my husband died, I wouldve done the whole Eat, Pray, Love thing or gone backpacking across Europe or South America just to get clarity. I love traveling, and even more, I love doing it alone. My ideal job would be working for the travel channel traveling around the world checking out hotels/resorts, obscure places around the area, etc. I so want Samantha Browns job its not funny!!! 2. I was the person who heard my grandmother Marian Peele take her lasts breaths and listened to her heartbeat slow down and finally quit. As her grandchild, I wanted her to stay, as a RN, I knew she needed to go forward. I miss her every day and think of her always. Another amazing yet humbling part of life you will never forget. 3. I love adrenaline rushes; so far Ive been sky flying, bungee jumping, hang gliding, white water rafting on a class 4 and ridden in a Lamborghini going top speed on the Autobahn. I still need to go white water rafting on a class 5, sky diving, base jumping, and hot air ballooning. 4. While in RN school, I actually got to help deliver 33 babies, including crash c-sections and a set of twins to an HIV positive 13yo. There is truly nothing more amazing or humbling in my opinion than being in the presence of a life coming into this world. 5. Im extremely proud that I still have amazing friendships & in some cases even better relationships with the various people Ive met in my life. Each and every one of you means so much to me and most of you will never know how much, but please know that I do thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being I my life. 6. I discovered while working in the SNGH ER that I had an inane love for all things medical & macabre. With that said, while I was in RN school, I truly loved the dissection days in Anatomy class. Its an amazing feeling holding body parts in your hands, and even more amazing to be witness to a surgery and get to help. 7. It took me years to find my voice aka my BALLS to say what I want and what I feel to people. I learned the hard way that you have only one life to live and that you should live each day to the fullest because no one is guaranteed tomorrow. I live by a simple phrase Vivir y amor sin peña live and love without regret! When my dying day comes, I want to look back at my life and say I was here, & I did what I wanted, loved who I wanted, and hopefully will matter to someone in the next 100 years
