Brag Alert! A proud Mom shares: My Aspie 11 year old daughter who nearly failed 4th grade math and struggled all year to get to the bare minimum on timed tests and never not ONCE got an A all year.....just received a letter stating her acceptance into the 6th grade Honors math class. Ironically enough her 4th grade state test scores as well as the Scholastic Math Inventory and her CoGAT scores from fifth grade qualified her for automatic entrance. She has big plans, this Girly of mine. And I am very proud of her hard work and, more importantly, her newly-learned love of math.
