Brandon M. GrendingMichael J Williams for Rio Rancho Mayor 6 hrs · Albuquerque, NM · I have to say that I am disappointed in the difference of postings on each of the Facebook pages. I have seen many uplifting, informative, or endorsing type of posts from Gregg Hulls page. As I look through your most recent postings I see what would be interpreted as a smear campaign. I do appreciate some of the facts that are being displayed on your site, however I am not too interested in how bad of a job you feel your opponent will do, but solely would like to hear what you plan to do. Just thoughts from a Rio Rancho voter... Like · Victor Romero Brandon, isnt a candidates being involved in a treadmill of lawsuits and financial misconduct since at least 1999 important? Arent these facts relevant to character and job performance? I find cheerleaders on Mr. Hulls page. This is nice, neighborly, and part of the fun of campaigns. But I read no meat in the Hull site comments. Now if Mike Williams had done anything on the level of Mr. Hulls foul-ups, I think the media and others would be talking about it. I would expect Mr. Hulls supporters to bring it up, and I would not begrudge them for this. I would expect Mr. Williams supporters to say, Mike, you have some explaining to do... I would expect Mike Williams to respond to the constructive criticism, own his mistakes, and not whitewash them. But Mike Williams has been vetted pretty thoroughly at this point. From all I have read, Williams has done nothing on the level of Hulls misconduct. if these black marks on Hulls record did not exist, this would be one thing. Even having no political leadership experience, I would be open to Mr. Hull serving as mayor. Or even if Mr. Hull freely admitted he had made some terrible mistakes, at the start or even now, I would be open to his serving as mayor. But Mr. Hull prevaricated from the start. Today his responses to queries about the lawsuits and financial misconduct are far from admissions of mistakes and lessons learned. I do not know what to make of a man like this (Hull), who calls himself ethical and transparent but failed to pay major debts on a number of occasions in recent years and will not say what he did for the ten years after graduating from high school.
