Bravo, MOPS moms, bravo! Barbara Murphy writes: I know that you all know that MOPS is a marvelous organization but Ive got to give you another tremendous shout out because youve done it again! Youve blessed our socks off! Our daughter, Katie Gurnsey was one of those MOPS moms injured in that horrendous accident in October on the way to MomCon in Kansas City. She is still in the middle stages of the coma but she is slowly improving in the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. This past Saturday was her 35th birthday. As of today Katie received 79 birthday cards and well wishes from all over the USA. Most of those cards were from fellow MOPS moms and many of them had multiple messages inside! I have tried to read several of the cards to her and we will save them all until she can read them for herself. I know she feels the loving care and prayers from each of you! You remind me of the lyrics to a contemporary Christian song I hear often, God put a million-billion doors in this world for His love to walk through, and one of them is You. We feel His hands and heart reaching out through you MOPS, Thank you so much! May the Lord return all of these blessings many times over to you. Barbara Murphy, (Katies Mom)
