“Brazil can help end hunger in Africa”, this was the quote from the Centre of Excellence Director, Daniel Balaban. Recently Mr. Balaban was interviewed by the Lula Institute where he explained what the Centres work is and the current Brazil - Africa relationship. Maya Takagi, a researcher for EMBRAPA, was also interviewed by the Lula Institute. During the interview Ms. Takagi talked about the interest that African countries have with the Zero Hunger project and stated that the PAA Africa is extremely important for the small holder farmer.
