Break dem legs, Jeremy Greenbaum! Tomorrow night, Jeremy goes into the cast of Newsies at Broadways Nederlander Theater--a good role in a great show (with the best dancing in town, as far as Im concerned). The show, now starting its third year on Broadway, has been very well maintained. And Jeremy will be an asset to it. Hes got just the right energy and light in the eyes. I love when good things happen to good people.... I wish I could be there tomorrow to watch your first performance (or at least bring a home-baked cookie or two for good luck). But I am cheering spirit. (I just hope you have time to continue your blog, too--Im enjoying it, Jeremy. And now youll have more to write about.) He was previously seen in the Prospect Theatres production of Tamar of the River. (I posted a clip of him in that before.) I was hoping youd wind up in Newsies or Aladdin. I hope Newsies runs many more years!
