Breakables is less that a month away! Challenge class sponsors are rolling in! The medallions sculpted by Karen Gerhardt and molded by Joan Berkowitz are at the caster!! Judges are decided. Silent auction items are coming in! We are accepting entries for Breakables at BreyerFests Silver Jubilee for 2014! Breakable is an all-china & OF Resin/ColdCast Porcelain show. This special show, hosted by Breyer at the Holiday Inn North, is for horses and other equids made using clay, bone china, porcelain, and resin (for large production OF finish runs only). Many of the hobby’s finest artists have created some of the most exquisite pieces in china, and fine examples of these will be at the show. If you are a china and/or and OF resin collector, then this is the place you need to be! You MUST be a BreyerFest three-day ticket holder in order to enter Breakables. Hall opens for set up at 2 pm. We will start immediately after the last china class at NAN (somewhere around 3-4 PM). Parking will be available at the Clarion Hotel. There is an entrance right outside of the hall where you can bring in your horses. Breakables at BreyerFests Silver Jubilee features five rings with eight divisions! The OF Americanware (51+ runs), OF Europeanware (51+runs), OF Other Countryware (51+ runs), Small Production (50 or less)/Test divisions and CM Glaze will be doubled judged - one judge for breed and one judge for collectability! The Lakeshore division will not be doubled judged; instead they have their own workmanship and collectability sections. We have also have a PERFORMANCE division! This years tile design is from the wonderful Karen Gerhardt, Breakables original show hostess - thank you Karen! Joan Berkwitz is molding the tiles, thank you Joan! • Overall Champs and Reserves of all divisions except Lakeshore will be awarded a special model from Breyer! Thanks Breyer! The Lakeshore division has their own unique awards courtesy of Cindy Neuhaus . This is division is NAN-qualifying so don’t forget to bring your Lakeshores! Breakables at BreyerFests Silver Jubilee is a NAMHSA member show! All horses that place first or second in any of the breed or collectability classes will receive a NAN card good for entry into 2015/2016/2017/2018 NAN.
