To update it to 7.8 you must DEBRAND the phone using these steps... --Enable the MFG application by going to the dialer and dialing ##634# then pressing call. I have some issues with my device, when I used the mfg codes to access the software test I realized theres a error [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers \Builtin\RIL] dll, mmril, mmrildbg.dll Due to which I havent been able to upgrade my os to 7.8 though I did it once after I connected my device to zune it restored the OS back to 7.5 since then I havent been able to upgrade even using skype. I would really appreciate it if somebody can let me know the default strings for LG C900 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Builtin\RIL]
