Breaking News: Klum/Saylor Win Coach of the Year Accolades The Rebel Yell Coach was named EFFL2002 Coach of the Year. This award was also split with the Rambling Gophs coach, Jeff Teschendorf. Heidi Klum officially gave the award to GM Mark Saylor, who she felt really built the team and deserved all of the credit. "I just coached the team," commented the modest Klum. "It was the mastermind moves of GM Saylor that really got us as far as we did. He had the hindsight to go out and get quality players like Priest Holmes, Randy Moss, and Terrell Owens. He acquired some great solid talent on draft day that proved to provide the team with depth early in the season. He deserves this award, so I just gave it to him. The was the first COTY award for Mark Saylor. In 7 seasons, he has made the playoffs 3 times and won the first Superbowl in league history.
