Breaking news: The club would like to announce a fantastic new partnership and sponsorship deal with Active Physiotherapy. Players will now be able to have professional treatment, advice and have access to the Total Fitness gym and the Hydro pool that active has access to. This will help players on return of injury and to have access to the rehab centre at Total Fitness working alongside Active Physiotherapist. Player’s health and condition is a top priority of the football club and players will now feel that they are part of a set up that has one of the best in the West Lancashire football league. Players will be able to have a professional programme in place on return to training from injury this could mean working in the studio, gym and on the training pitch. Richard Hulbert BSc MCSP MHPC will be assign to the club to support the players on their individual programmes. In 2007 Richard started working with Bury football club and has done so ever since. During his time at the football club, Richard has worked with all levels of athletes at the club, from first team professionals to the 8 year old academy players. Richard and his team come with a wealth of experience in treating football players. His experience of working at a professional club will help the clubs ambition for the future. Manger Henry Chapman said “This is a massive day for the football club, with Richard’s support and advice we now have access to physiotherapy and rehab centre where he is based at Total fitness in Bolton and Whitefield. My priority as a manager that all the players have access to physiotherapy after sustaining a injury this will help with their conditioning, development and recovery this is really important where I see the direction where this club is taken and the ambition we have this is part of the long term project at the club, now we have professional medical advice is a great achievement for what we are striving to do with all aspects of the club”.
