Breakthrough, non-invasive prenatal procedures that determines if children will have down syndrome, and yet my heart is absolutely shattered with the tragedy that comes with this major medical advancement. Only about 5-7% of children with down syndrome are brought into this world due to parents choosing to abort when they hear their child will have down syndrome. These precious beings are created in Gods image just like every other child, and my heart breaks seeing that people do not value their precious lives as up-to-par as other lives.
