Save the Children’s assessment team is in talks with the local government in Chamoli district to provide medical support to the victims of the floods. Shortage of doctors in the area is a concern in the district, because as per reports only 35 doctors out of the 140 allotted are currently available. To setup health camps in order to provide immediate medical relief to the affected children, women and communities, Save the Children is seeking doctors and nurses to go to the affected areas for a minimum of 30 days. Please share this message among your friends and families so that we can provide timely medical aid to the families who need it most.
