Breeder Manager Facility : Guntersville - Feed Mill Role : Leader of People Oversees all aspects of the Breeder Department [Responsibilities and Tasks] ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to: Manages all levels of breeder operations. Interacts with other departments including: Plant operations, Live Haul, Hatchery and Feed Mill. Oversees all Breeder Producer relationships and all goods and services associated with their needs. Ability to coach, teach, train and get accountability from all employees and producers. Ability to confront and manage through conflict situations with both employees and producers. Acts as a liaison between Wayne Farms LLC and all Breeder Producers. Lead and manage others in a way consistent with the company’s values and strategic objectives. Other duties as assigned. Supervises 2 Breeder Field Representatives and the Breeder Crew Supervisor with a 9 person crew. [Minimum Skill Levels and Work Experience] REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 2 year degree in an agricultural field. Ÿ Minimum of 5 years experience in live production in a supervisory / or service role. [Preferred Skill Levels and Work Experience] PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 4 year degree in Poultry Science 2-3 years management experience in supervising employees. 5+ years in Broiler or Breeder service experience in Live Production.
