But when are get distracted by the world around and not reinforce our time and thoughts with the Lords promises, precepts to guide us, lack of prayers and dwelling with the Lord results in unanswered prayers and lack of vision..~ckp The example of Abram, lack of trust and faith, complaining, he and Sarah are too old and have no children yet. He did not believe that God would actually get things done soon enuff. He focused on his limitations as human, not looking to the super natural power of the Lord.He was told to get out of his tent a look to the stars to see the vastness of Gods Omnipresence. And his inheritance will cover over all...We must not focus on self, if we do we are in trouble. Those who choose to go it alone find themselves another casualty in the bone yard of those whose faith is shipwrecked. Genesis 15 The Lord’s Covenant With Abram Genesis 15: 1 After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram.I am your shield,your very great reward.” 2 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 And Abram said, “You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir.”4 Then the word of the Lord came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.” 5 He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness. 7 He also said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.”8 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?” Finally Abram, believed the Lord..when we ask and see nothing for years, do not fret or be anxious. God is able to do more abundantly than we can imagine.. Romans 4:18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Lets step out in faith and trust all things will work for the good.. Even if we make a mistake..God will be there. God wants us to live our life and enjoy the journey, in His Amazing grace.
