The future of marriage in America depends on those that are married to witness authentic marriage and to turn away from a lustful relationship in which we use our spouses for our own pleasures. For us to witness that authentic love, a self gift to another, is not just possible but in fact intended by design is the key to defending and keeping marriage alive in this country. They will know we are Christians by our Love. Meanwhile, we must challenge ourselves to not fall into the new category defined by the courts as ones who desire to demean those who do not see natural law. In fact, our witness to recognize and respect others for their dignity and their personhood should be a greater challenge to all Christians. This does not mean to give in or to not engage in the battle at hand. It means to be the better person who can engage with love and who will witness their marriage, though struggles and triumphs to a world that finds temporary excitement more fulfilling than waiting for Eternal joy. Most do not know otherwise, as generations are being brought up indifferent and without knowledge. We must therefore plant the seeds of Truth and defend them. Those that have ears, ought to hear.
