Brenda drove me down to Houston last night so we could be close to the doctors office this morning. I had a 7:15 appt for what I thought was a PET scan. Turned out to be a CAT scan. I mentioned this because I dont react to the IV solution for a PET scan, however I react horribly to the IV iodine solution for a CAT scan. Anyway, after the scan, I went upstairs to see my surgeon for a follow up appt where I was hoping he was going to tell me my cancer was gone and I was in remission. Alas, there was an anomaly on the scan and the doctor and the radiologist (both) cant tell if the tumor is growing back, or if it is scar tissue. So, I have to go back in six weeks to see if there is any change, and then again six weeks later for another scan to see if there is measurable differences. He says Im doing great in some areas, not so great in others. Please pray for scar tissue to be causing the blurp on the scan and not the tumor !! Bubba is not welcome here any more !! (that was the name a co-worker gave my tumor) Im going to continue to Fake it until I make it and smile all the way through this. Cause Jesus is still by my side !!
