Brendan Cullen I LOVE IRELAND...And I love the Irish people. I love the way they will put you back in your place if you get above your station but I also love the way the very same people will be there to bend down and pick you up if you stumble and fall. Thats what we do, we stick together because were Irish and we love our country. Denis OBrien doesnt love his country.... Denis OBrien doesnt love his fellow countrymen.... Denis OBrien loves money...Denis OBrien will do whatever it takes to make money, he will bribe weak, spineless, greedy politicians to achieve his objectives. He will censure and manipulate the media he owns to further his goal and he will pick the bones of our country until nothing remains. This is a man who has his businesss registered in a foreign country so as to avoid paying tax in the country he comes from. But Denis OBrien has made a fatal error, he has assumed that the Irish people would roll over once more while he bought the rights to supply us with something we already have....WATER. He assumed that like the universal social charge, the property tax and all the other austerity measures inflicted on us over these last few years we would just stay silent and pay up. Denis OBrien presumed that by bribing our weak, greedy politicians and gagging mainstream media he could achieve his objective but he has underestimated the strength of the Irish people, he thought that gagging the media, buying the government, who in turn are using the Garda as a private security company would be enough to achieve his aims. Well Ive a message for Denis OBrien and the corrupt, spineless, self serving politicians he has bought. NO...NO I WONT PAY FOR WATER, NOT NOW, NOT EVER!!! You may install your water meters and send your application packs, you may even send me a bill in 2015 but I will never ever pay for something that is a basic human right and something I have paid for through various taxes for many years now and people all over this country, people in Coolock, Dublin, people in Ferrybank Waterford. People in Sligo, Donegal, Limerick, Cork, Wicklow and every corner of this country are saying the same thing. This is why, on October 11th it is vital that we all take part in the protest in Dublin. Its time this government found out exactly the huge error they have made. Its time to tell them we have had enough. Dont think that your presence will not be needed, that you wont be missed if you dont come...you will, so come and bring your family, your friends, neighbours and tell everybody you know to come along too. THIS IS OUR TIME TO FIGHT BACK, THIS IS OUR TIME TO SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE TO DENIS OBRIEN AND HIS PUPPET GOVERNMENT THAT WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!
