Brendan Rodgers is set to step up his interest in DeAndre Yedlin after the defender produced a number of outstanding displays at the World Cup this summer. The Seattle Sounders star showed an explosive attacking nature from full-back, but can also operate in midfield if needed. According to the Express, Liverpool are looking into the possibility of inviting Yedlin over to England for a trial this summer. If the American international impresses then Rodgers will move to make the transfer permanent later in the window. Liverpool have moved quickly in the transfer window so far and have already bolstered their squad with three new signings as they look to add depth ahead of their Champions League campaign this season. Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana have both joined from Southampton, whereas Emre Can has arrived from Bayer Leverkusen. According to the paper, Liverpool’s scouts have been aware of the Yedlin’s growing reputation for a while and have been following the talented star since the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey. #adminbally
