Brian Krebs formerly wrote a cybersecurity column for the Washington Post. A few years ago he started his own blog. It was he who broke the news about the Target credit card breach last year in December. Before and since then, Krebs has pursued dozens of other cyber criminals. He lives in Northern Virginia and has even publicized his address, showing no fear despite death threats and attempts to frame him for various crimes. A really bad guy from Ukraine was recently nabbed in Italy, thanks to Krebs sleuthing and despite threats to his own safety. Word is there is a movie of Krebs adventures in the works.
