Bridge Course Making the shift from high school to college freshman can be intimidating to some students. Thankfully, our Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s college avails to help make the transition easier. Our college conducted the Bridge course in order to give an orientation to the first year students to facilitate them to understand the complexities of college education and to brief them about the standards of quality expected by the university. The new entrants of our college were engaged in this course 3 hours per day for 5 days from 1/7/2014 to 7/7/14. It intensively focused on the reading, class participation skills, critical thinking and communication skills. Besides this, our faculties gave an intensive training in different technical streams and the students were brought to a level of understanding with which they can participate and perform in successive classroom interactions effectively. Bridge course encouraged our students to explore fascinating new worlds of knowledge and nurtured the rich intellectual relationships between faculty members and students.
