Brilliant beachside market at Byron Bay yesterday. Hundreds strolled by in the bright sunshine with Bluesfest tags on their wrists and many stopped to fossick on the five dollar table. All but three of the rabbits and bilbies went to new homes. The warren is almost empty. All the bodhi leaf plates sold too. It was my best market ever by a long way. Once again it was so good to meet up with old friends and new. Thank you Clare Hopkins for helping out during the busy hours. It would have been difficult without you. Another chunk of Sumatran rainforest is saved as well from the proceeds. Kelvin Davies of Rainforest Connections who is coordinating the additions to the reserve and many other great projects dropped by so say hello as well as Justin Field and several other good friends. Time for a refreshing dip today methinks .
