Brilliant first-five Ihaia West and other members of the Magpies training squad joined the Come on the Bay Get Immunised campaign this week. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the benefits of flu vaccination for the wider community, especially at risk groups who get the vaccination for free. Those groups are pregnant women, people aged between six months old and 65 years old with chronic health problems, and those over 65. Flu vaccinations can be administered through GPs and certain pharmacies, while some workplaces, like the DHB, offer free vaccinations.
