Brilliant post-minimalistic Portuguese composer/pianist Tiago Sousa has developed into one of the most interesting and intriguing Portuguese musicians of recent years. Not only his spectacular and sensitive piano style, but also his wonderful compositions, make quite and impression and soon take the listeners breath away. Earlier this year Sousa released the splendid album Samsara on Immune Recordings. During these 30 minute compositions he immerses himself further in the conceptual path he began following several years ago and is inspired by Eastern philosophy. The work represents the repetitive and ever recurring cycle of life, death and rebirth and has become a true masterpiece.
