Bristol home birth group BRISTOL HOMEBIRTH GROUP NEEDS YOU! The Bristol Homebirth group has been running for 10 years and continues to meet monthly offering advice and information to anyone considering birthing at home. We have been lucky to have the support of many committed volunteers over the years. Some of these volunteers are moving onto other things, and so we are looking for anyone who might be interested in supporting the group. The main requirment is an enthusiasm about homebirth! You may be a mother who has birthed at home, a partner who has supported a birth at home (men/dads welcome!) someone who has attended the group in the past, a doula, midwife or trainee, or someone who is just keen to promote positive normal brith at home. Meetings are once a month, and we look to have 4 volunteers at each meeting. Volunteers usually commit to around 2 meetings a year. We re currently drawing up our rota for 2014, so if you are interested in helping out we would love to hear from you!
