British Home Secretary, Theresa May has apologised to victims in the House of Commons for her failure to find a suitable Chair for the historical child abuse inquiry in England and Wales. Two nominated Chairs have stood down over apparent conflicts of interest. Many survivors of institutional child abuse have lost confidence in the process.
