Let me see if I can offer a little more clarification; I waited all my life for this Baptism and received it today. Its an amazing experience and it did involve a lot of freaky stuff for lack of a better term, including speech I could not comprehend. I know my spirit did; or I would not have been affected so profoundly. Apostle Paul had this to say. 1COR 14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. Here Paul clearly states that although it is better that we seek from the Holy Spirit to Prophesy, Speaking in tongues is a gift that all of us are in need of. When we have no idea what we need to pray for most, Holy Spirit takes over our prayer and enables us to pray however strangely, exactly what we need to be praying most. Thats why we so often see people wailing in tears or sometimes even happily laughing uncontrollably, while they pray in the Spirit. The thing or things, that most needed prayer, that have been neglected for so long, are finally being addressed with, and given up to God. I feel confident that this is accurate.
