Bro/Sis youth members and staff were amongst the thousands of people across the nation to protest the grand jurys failure to indict police officer #DanielPantaleo whose illegal chokehold led to the death of #EricGarner. The members, were split into different groups.One group marched on the Brooklyn Bridge towards Barclays Center. When they reached Barclays Center, the members and other protesters sat on the street for seven minutes and stopped traffic. Next, the group marched over the Manhattan Bridge and concluded their march at the Department of Justice. The protesters were led by family members of those killed by the police. The family members represented were relatives of #EricGarner, #RamarleyGraham, #MohamedBah, #MargaritaRosario, the mother of #AnthonyRosario, and #ShantelDavis.
